The Human Resources Department has a staff of four dedicated employees who oversee all aspects of the HR Department – Director of Human Resources, two Human Resources Officers and one District Administrative Support person. The Department serves 1700 permanent and 700 casual staff employed by Anglophone East School District.

The Human Resource Department is not just about hiring… we provide information to employees about retirements, maternity leaves, education leaves, deferred leaves, Work-time Flex programs, liase with school principals and vice-principals, interpret Collective Agreements and the list goes on!

ASD-E Competition

Application Procedures

All competitions are conducted in accordance with the appropriate Collective Agreements and Part II of the NB Civil Service Act and Regulations. The District uses open selection procedures that ensure the selection of the most suitable candidate for a position. The process ensures fair access to competitions.

All positions are listed under the applicable Bargaining and Non-Bargaining Units. To view individual job postings, please click on the applicable link.

The Human Resources Department manages the preliminary processing of all applications and forwards them to the appropriate departments. Each department has its own time-line for fulfilling a particular position and conducts its own screening and interviewing processes accordingly.

Subject to the responses to some competitions, education and experience requirements may be raised. We reserve the right to contact present and former employers for reference purposes. Successful candidates will be required to undergo a Criminal Record Check. Only those applicants selected for an interview will be contacted.

Application Submission – To be considered, all applications must be completed and received by 4:00 pm on the closing date listed in the competition unless otherwise specified.
