Procedure for Employees of Anglophone East School District
Records of Employment (ROE’s) are completed via the internet. You may access a copy of your ROE via My Service Canada Account (MSCA) at the following Website:
For permanent ten-month employees (i.e. Bus Drivers, Educational Assistants, Library Assistants, School Intervention Workers and School Administrative Assistants), the ROE’s are filed:
- At Christmas Break, March Break, and end of school year
- For maternity leaves
- Unpaid sick leaves
- Leave of Absences
For all casual employees and supply teachers, ROE’s are filed:
- At the end of the school year
- End of term of employment
- Or by request

IMPORTANT NOTICE: ELIMINATION OF REFERENCE CODES FOR EMPLOYMENT INSURANCE APPLICATIONS
Effective the 2018 summer period, Service Canada are pleased to announce that reference codes are no longer required for school-related EI applications.
Recent modernization and transformation of the EI application process and enhancements to internal work tools have enabled the same quality of service to be offered to applicants without the use of a reference code. Processing delays attributed to lost or incorrect reference codes will no longer occur, ensuring clients receive more consistent services for all types of EI benefits.

~All supply / casual time is reported by each school’s administration. Reporting to District is completed on a daily basis.
~ It is the casual employee or supply teacher’s responsibility to sign in with Social Insurance Number, at the school each day. A sign-in sheet will be provided.
~ All Spare Drivers must complete a time sheet (submit to Transportation for their records).
~ The above schedule cannot be altered in any way.
~ Notify Payroll Department in writing of any name changes or address changes. (email accepted)
~ Pay dates that fall on a Statutory Holiday will be dated the day prior to the holiday.
