IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL GRADES K & 5 PARENTS / GUARDIANS

Parents/Caregivers of students in Kindergarten or Grade 5 English Prime will be required fill out a form from your child’s school to indicate which program your child will continue their education in Anglophone East School District. If you wish to register your child in Early (Grade 1 entry) or Late (Grade 6 entry) Immersion, please select that option on the form.

Please note that not all schools offer Early Immersion or Late Immersion.

Choosing A French Second Language Program

All students in the Anglophone sector have the opportunity to learn French. The curriculum follows the guidelines of the New Brunswick Department of Education and Early Childhood Development. Students work towards the same goals for all subjects regardless of the language of instruction.

There is no expectation that parents of students in any of the program options must be able to speak French. All program options are designed for children whose first language is not French.

New Brunswick has several education program options to support students learning French.
